When he returned many years after the war, he was not allowed to enter his family’s (parent’s) original house because another family is living there now.
HIs crime (many of his family members were murdered) for all of the Hell he endured was that he was born into a Jewish family.
Many immigrated to America for their survival. He also learned something about racism, and reparations. He was saved in America and had a good life in his new found country.
