Vadim is a ‘Russian” fellow I met a few years ago. He was playing his accordion in the subway. Recently, I was riding my bike near 72nd and Broadway when I heard him playing (above ground for a change). We did a few musical gigs together in the past. He must be seeking an audience because few people are riding the subways theses days. The city is returning to normal, day by day. We are performing at a grand opening of a furniture store this coming Friday. I got him on the gig later the same afternoon I ran into him. He didn’t have a dog. I made that part up from my imagination. They would never fit through the subway entrance door. Only the large dog would fit. Oh well.
