  1. This is a scene from a Vietnam documentary. What a nightmare. 18 year old boys, just out of high school, dropped into a jungle where they had no idea who was going to try to kill them when it got dark. Your job is to go out and look for trouble. Can you imagine how long those dark sleepless nights seemed? Murder upon murder and devastation – going on for years and years. I know what Beethoven would have felt about that,

  2. My father came from war torn Europe, where most of his family were murdered by the Germans.. Immigrating to America gave him a chance to raise his family in freedom and protection from ignorant and racist fanatics. I appreciate my good luck to grow up in America. Wars, like Vietnam, I hope are a thing of the past. So much destruction and tragedy.
