Urban Fishing

My orchestra “The Manhattan Symphonie” performed in Beijing and Shanghai China in early April of this year (2014). China is an amazing country for many reasons. (See Youtube “Manhattan Symphonie China” – I am the conductor)
While riding in the front of the large bus that transported our musicians to and from the concerts I noticed a lone person fishing surrounded by thousands of
automobiles. The auto congestion is so great that only people with odd numbers on their license plates can drive every other day to relieve the congestion. Also, not everyone who applies for a drivers license is granted one. A lottery is established for only a certain amount issued per month. Air pollution is bad but the people are very nice. One Chinese man told me that China became polluted making products for western consumption. I hope they make more electric cars for the entire world. I thank Ms. Ani and Mr.Geri for putting some old/new sketches on this website
