  1. I love this “Just in Case”. It looks simple, yet there are many aspects to look at. I find something new every time I look at this. It’s fun and humorous. … Now I have spent a few minutes looking at this drawing as I am typing this comment, and all of sudden, I was hit by a melancholic feeling. Oh wow, what is this?? This is SAD!!!

  2. Maestro Gregory is a G-eniu-S. this is one of his captivating artworks. simple?? yes. but effortless. remember the words of Chopin: “Simplicity is the final achievement. After one has played a vast quantity of notes and more notes, it is simplicity that emerges as the crowning reward of art.”

  3. There is something true that this violin is confined to its case. It is not being loved or played upon. It does look a bit lonely.
However I am surrounded by violins in and out of cases all day at my violin shop and I didn’t give it too much thought.
It also looks pretty smug and comfortable.

  4. I meant to say “snug.” An “artist” expresses feelings through the image. There are times that I am sad or lonely and it might be the moment I decide to draw something. There is nothing bad about being sad. There are many things to feel sad about. Happiness is nothing without sadness. I certainly appreciate the insight of real artist Gedartis entered on February 4th. Thank you for the share of your inner thoughts and inspiration.
