This desk and chairs were once my pride and joy. The desk is an exact replica of the same desk my “boss” Jacques Francais had at his violin shop on 57th street NYC. The chairs did come from Mr. Francais’s shop. His daughter “Cookie” let me keep them for her. Some day she will want them back I imagine. I enjoyed the curves of the desk and chairs and you can see how much fun I had drawing them. This is the way my violin shop looked at 71st street off of Broadway in the early 2000s. It had a wonderful bay window as you can see. I still have the desk and chairs at my new shop and I still like them very much. It is a wonderful desk. It seems over qualified to support the weight of a computer these days.
