  1. The aspect that i like the most about this silly sketch is that it was inspired by my numerous voyages across and back on the Staten Island Ferry. The perspective on the front left ship is not correct and it seems to be leaning as if in a storm or high seas. Not ever the case in the harbor opposite the Statue of Liberty. I think it is somehow nice that the two lines of smoke are blowing forward of the ships in a primitive childlike one stroke (each) and lastly that their is no attempt to add the water or waves. The fancy frame is just the fancy piece of stationary that happened to fall into my arms length. That’s Brooklyn, N.Y. in the background. I really think its fun, if I do say so myself. Sorry kids! “Maestro” Singer
